Congratulations to our Warrior Band Members who earned spots in the East Baton Rouge Parish All-Parish Honor Band. This year we had an unprecedented number of students audition and earn spots in the band, which highlights the best musical talent in the parish. Earning first chair in the Symphonic Band, the top band, were Camille Dupre (clarinet), Amber Chavez (bass clarinet), and Schyler Lee (flute). Other members who earned positions in the Symphonic Band were, Sarah Banker (flute), Devereaux Stevison (flute), Eva Lee (horn), Mary Vanhaverbeke (horn), Vanessa Sanders (percussion), and Nathan Zeringue (trombone). Earning spots in the All-Parish Concert band were Dane Harter (tuba), Jake Barrios (trumpet), Cameron Bennett (percussion), Trey Parker, (alto saxophone), and Samantha Copeland (clarinet). We are especially proud of the four students who earned positions on multiple instruments. These students were Dane Harter, Nathan Zeringue, Amber Chavez, and Eva Lee. They will all perform in concert Friday, January 29, 2016.
