Our marching festival is this Saturday, October 31 in Natchitoches, on the NSU campus. For those of you wishing to make the trip up there with us, we are scheduled to perform at 12:45. We will be leaving St. Michael on school buses at 7 AM. Students are to report to the band room Saturday morning at 6:30. The trip will take 3 hours but we plan on making one bathroom stop along the way which should make the trip take 3 and a half hours.
I am encouraging everyone to eat breakfast at home before you leave. The Warrior dance team will be providing donuts (2 each) for everyone for the ride up to Natchitoches. Students may bring snacks for the bus ride. We will provide bottled water for you as well. Upon arrival on the NSU campus we will feed students a quick lunch consisting of a poboy sandwich (choice of either ham or turkey), a bag of chips and water. (Lunch will be provided by the Band Parents) I am currently working on the price for the dinner buffet in the dinning room on campus and will let you know the price as soon as I get it.

- Warm-time is 12:15
- Performance time is 12:45
- Admission for non-performers is $5
- We will remain until after the awards ceremony (scheduled at 7 PM)
- Our estimated time of arrival back at St. Michael is between 11:30-midnight. Please be prompt in picking up your child.
One more thing. Our students have worked very hard to put together a superior caliber show this year! They however, could not have done it without the support and “behind the scenes” work of some very dedicated, hard-working parents. Thanks to all of you for helping make this year’s show awesome!
